Where do you spend most of your time fishing?
Northern Minnesota.
When did you first start fishing?
Before I can remember, off the docks at my family’s resort in northern Minnesota.
What is your favorite species to fish?
I’m supposed to say “bass”, but it’s actually lake trout.
When you’re not fishing, what’s something you love to do?
Golf.
What's the most underrated fishing technique that more people should be using?
For bass, I think the most underrated tactic is fishing shallow year-round. Everyone wants to go offshore and stare at their electronics, but there are plenty of big fish that stay shallower than 8 feet the entire open water season.
If you could fish with any angler, past or present, who would it be?
My grandpa.
If you had to build the ultimate tackle box with only five lures, what’s in it?
A heavy jighead, a light jighead, a pack of straight-tail minnows, a jerkbait, and a frog.
What is your favorite Lund model and why?
I hold the Pro-V Bass near and dear to my heart, but I must admit, I learned how to fish out of a Lund Alaskan. You simply cannot beat the versatility that an Alaskan has to offer for multi-species, both fish and fowl.
What's your hidden talent?
I'm really good at singing poorly.
What is it about Lund, whether it’s the team, the boats, or the legacy, that keeps you coming back year after year?
For me, it's about tradition. Like so many other lucky kids, I was born into a Lund family. It's all I've ever known, and it's all I ever want to know.
