Volume 2, Issue 3

Welcome to the July 2005 edition of the Lund Line.  July is a busy time, summer is in full swing, people are on the water and we are introducing our 2006 model line of boats.  We have a bunch of new models in our line-up and we have made changes to many of our current models.  Read all about them on our website…

We will be working to update LundBoats.com with the new 2006 models soon.  Also, visit our recently updated LundWear.com site for the latest Lund gear.

Thank you for your support of Lund boats and have a great summer!

1800 Sport Angler

The new 1800 Sport Angler and its big brother the 2000 Sport Angler are two more great fishing boats built in the Lund tradition. The Sport Angler models are designed to accommodate several styles of anglers – from northern big water walleye anglers to southern crappie anglers to northwestern salmon anglers. Built on Lund’ exclusive IPSTM hull, it has an 18’ 6” centerline length and 97” beam.

Contact your local Lund Dealer today and see how the 1800 Sport Angler can accommodate your fishing style.

Watch out Walleyes!!
Did you know that over 75% of our subscribers surveyed, are after walleyes when they are out on the water?  Check out the results of our April Lund Line survey.
Make sure you participate this season's Lund Line survey too.

Miss fewer bites
When walleyes are biting your jig and minnow, but you find yourself missing some bites, try the addition of a stinger hook. Many times the smaller fish only get half the minnow in their mouth vs. the entire jig and minnow. Visit our website for an image and links to more tips.

Battery Care and Maintenance
Batteries are the most important and most heavily relied on pieces of equipment in your boat.  Check out our Battery Care page for information on how to keep this vital piece of equipment in top-notch shape.
