“Have fished the UP Michigan area of Lake Michigan for approximately 25 years, and it can get a little nasty (weather and wave-wise). I have always felt secure in my 18 foot Pike boat, I bought it used about 5 years ago. I had searched out this particular model based on experiences from my late teens and early 20s when my brother owned one. I then had the good fortune to find an almost mint copy, used, about 5 years ago, and it ain't in any danger of getting replaced, best boat I've ever fished out of... period.”
