Here are a few of the stories we featured awhile back, in case you missed them...
| We bought our little Lund from a guy this past February for $600 including the trailer AND 2 motors. It is our very first boat. My husband worked tirelessly cleaning and painting it. We then named it - Junk Yard Dog. We get SO many compliments on it, and so many people say: "I used to have one just like it". We are very proud of our little "JYD"! Joyce H., Charlotte, NC. |
I purchased my first boat ever in 2004 - a shining new Lund Pro Sport 1700. In the past 3 summers it has never let me down, and has provided over 300 hours of enjoyable time on many of the waters in northern Utah and Wyoming. Each time I am on the water in both dead calm and windy chop, I appreciate the comfortable, stable and dry ride and the vessel’s great fishability. My Lund is so well mannered and easy to handle that my children have become very proficient deck hands. Thanks Lund for a well designed and constructed boat that will be in our family for many years to come. Forest C., Ogden, UT. |

Growing up my dad always owned a Lund, ranging from his first Pro V to the last boat he would ever own, the 1850 Tyee GS. Unfortunately, we lost him to cancer last winter, but now I will keep the tradition going with my children Drew and Kyle with the purchase of my new Lund 1850 Tyee GS. I know that that boat can handle everything Mille Lacs Lake can throw at it because Dad had been fishing Mille Lacs since 1970. He loved his Lund boats and so do I! Patrick R., Curry, MN. |
Here is a picture of my 2005 Lund 1800 Fisherman next to my garage on Lake Roosevelt in Washington State. I bought it last year after owning a 1700 Tyee for 11 years. I love my boat! I fish walleye all over the Columbia Basin and I really love the smooth ride and comfortable appointments of my Lund. My 75 year-old Dad has a 16 foot Lund angler... we are a Lund family!! I just purchased my first boat ever, and I’m sure it will be the only one for me. I was first looking at a bass tracker because it was a little more affordable but my wife said no. I want a party boat, she said. So I bought a LUND, and it was the best decision ever. I have noticed that it’s the only Lund boat out on the lake. Bass Tracker dominates out here but my story is that the tracker boys love my boat. They stair and salivate at it, as if it were a thick, juicy stake. I think I will be seeing more LUND boats out here pretty soon. Mario. Glendale, CA. |
We bought this Lund 4.9 XRV Sport new in July 1982(Our second Lund). Our kids grew up fishing and skiing with it and as you can see in this picture from summer 1995, it still gets put to good use. It was the best investment for family togetherness we ever made! Larry M., Davenport, IA. |
I have owned my Lund 1775 Pro V Deluxe SE for 10 years now. Just last week I took a friend fishing that owned a boat from a different manufacturer. He was totally impressed with the room and ride of a Lund. He was also impressed how well it has held up after 10 years of service. He made the comment upon leaving that it would take some getting used to his boat again after riding in a Lund. Of course, I was all smiles, and could not agree with him more. Lund Pride, it’s built into the product. Thank you for the Lund experience. Lund is all I will ever own! Ted M., Battle Creek, MI. |
I bought my 1800 Fisherman in 2004 and, of course, I love it. I live on the shore of one of the largest lakes in the world, Great Slave Lake in the N.W.T. of Canada. The picture is of an Arctic Grayling caught on the East Arm of Great Slave Lake, about a four hour boat ride from Yellowknife. This is just one of the many beautiful lakes up here in Northern Canada. I have a friend that is a professional guide in Green Bay. He took me out on an excursion with his Lund boat. I have had many other boats in my life, but none have ever even come close to the Lund. I fell in love with his Pro V, and knew one day I had to own one. Well, in 2001 I was injured at work, and wasn’t able to get out fishing for almost four yrs. I am a single man, and I can really say that one thing that has kept me going was the desire to have a Lund. I would work on my rehab until I would cry, because I knew that one day I would get a Lund of my own. When I could drive again I would go to the boat landings here in town and watch the guys go out, and drool over the Lunds I saw. This made me work even harder at getting back to the fisherman that I was before. On August 15th, I got my new Lund Pro v, and let me tell you, that was the best day in my life. I go out in it every chance I get, and tell everyone I know how wonderful Lund boats are. There is no better feeling than to see the mouths drop when I pull into the boat landing. I even get people telling me, WOW!, what a nice boat at the gas station while I am fueling my lund. There is not another boat out there that will even come close to a Lund. Thanks for making my dreams come true - Lund now and forever! Bruce A., Green Bay, WI. |
I Love my Lund Mr. Pike 18'. At 26 years old I fulfilled one of my dreams: I bought a brand new 2003 Mr. Pike 18'. I use this boat for everything from Salmon fishing, to tubing with family and friends. The Mr. Pike handles Lake Michigan with no problems and I feel very safe out there in my Lund. Looking forward, I see my self upgrading to another new Lund for a lifetime of memories. Here's a picture of me with a nice Salmon from Lake Michigan, and of course, my boat. Eric G., Racine, WA. |
I recently purchased a 2006 1800 Alaskan and all I can say is: I now know what my father was talking about for years. I do a lot of Musky fishing and it seems that every time I go out, I notice something else about that boat that makes me glad I chose a Lund. I was told a 9.9 would not move that boat very well. It not only moves it very well and controls it, it also runs around 7-8 mph. With the IPS hull design, weight doesn't matter. I have all the floor space in the world with the tiller model. This boat is perfect boat for musky fishing! Keep up the good work. Bill B., Carlock, IL. |
| I am the proud owner of a 15' 1974 LUND with a 25hp Mercury. I purchased the boat in October of 2005 from a friend who I am stationed with. We had to go from Louisiana to North Dakota to pick it up, but the trip was well worth it! I recently restored the boat and named her after my late grandmother Beatrice. My wife and daughter accompany me at times, but it is my son and I that use the boat almost every weekend. The boat has brought my family together and we all have fun running it. The only other boat I would ever get would be a BIGGER LUND and my son would inherent this one. Thank you LUND for making a very durable and dependable boat hull, 32 years old still splitting water and slinging Bass. David B. & Jacob B., Fort Polk, LA. |
We were fishing for Walleyes in the middle of the summer. We had the family’s Lund boat which is perfect for people with children. On this trip we brought our puppy (geared up with her fishing vest). She loves to go fishing and be out on the water.
We caught our limit that day!!

My grandfather owned a 1963 Lund 12' boat since the day I was born. He and I fished on that boat almost weekly for years. He swore that a Lund was the only aluminum boat worth its salt. He was right!
When I turned 16 he gave it to me and I have used and abused it for 15 more years. It still tracks straight and has never leaked a drop.
Yesterday I picked up my brand new 1775 Classic with all the goodies. Grandpa is 94 years old now and "retired from fishing" but tomorrow he is going out with me for one last blast. I have decided to keep the old 12' I want to pass it on to my grandkids too. Jeff H., Tooele, UT. |

I am a proud owner of a beautiful Lund. I would like to express my gratitude to a certain "Christian" man that went out of his way to make me a true believer in the integrity and dedication to customer satisfaction.
I will always be a Lund owner due to his decision to make one person happy for another persons fault. Because there is such a commitment to customer satisfaction, I feel compelled to always be associated with Lund. Thank you for the beautiful boat.

I am fortunate to have purchased a Lund Pro V 1660 last May, after an experience with a savvy group of Canadian Walleye fishermen last year. I have taken the Lund on some local Pennsylvania lakes for some great fishing, as well as several Ontario lakes this June for Walleye, Bass, and Pike. What an amazing experience, and what a great boat for hauling on a trailer and fishing! The Lund Pro V is everything one could want in a fishing boat. A great ride, and a responsive and spacious vessel. While I’ve been fishing for almost 50 years, the Lund Pro V has opened up a whole new experience, and is the envy of my fishing buddies too! Thanks for making my fishing experiences so much more than they have been before! George S., Wyomissing, PA. |

Bought my Lund Fisherman thinking I was going to fish mostly fresh water. Ended up instead fishing the Long Island Sound in some pretty big chop. Never had a problem with the boat, handles great and we have landed some really nice fish along the way. The Lund allows me to fish the shallow rocky areas well and handle the big water when needed. Great choice for pursuing fish like Stripers, Bluefish, Flounder, etc... which change up the conditions faster then the weather! From downriggers in 120 feet to pitching a popper in 3, never had a problem. My son can't wait to get back out and chase them again and again. Alan D., Ridgefield, CT. |
I bought my Lund Fisherman 2000 two years ago. Lund's aren't really well known in the Northwest but being hooked on the fishing shows I learned that it was a very good boat. I looked up a dealer in Portland and after taking a look at them, I bought it that same day. My boat is powered by the 150 hp Yamaha with the T-8 Yamaha kicker. I do alot of fishing on the Columbia River in the Portland, Or Vancouver, Wa. area. I fish for Salmon during the Spring and Fall runs, but probably spend more time fishing for small mouth bass than any other fish. I also like to take it to area lakes fishing for trout and Kokanee. Because of the riveted hull instead of the welded, the Lund is much lighter and deeper. It trailors very easiily and when the Columbia gets rough my Lund won't "pound" like the shallow V boats do. I have owned several boats in my life and nothing compares to this boat. I intend to keep it for a long time. Thanks, Lund Tom A., Vancouver, WA

I bought my first Lund in the spring of 1996. I have never had any problems with it at all! I love my old Lund. It has helped me win 2 first place finishes in the M.W.T. and several top 20 finishes in the last 10 years. I know that this boat could go for another 10 years of great fishing. I am so happy on how this boat has held up under all that tournament anglers put them through on a daily bases. If I was not a tournament angler this boat would last a lifetime! No questions about it! Everyone on the tournament trail always ask.. when are you gonna get a new boat? I tell them why do I need a new one when this one is still going strong? I love my Lund, and plan on buying another one this winter. Craig N., Clarkston, MI |
