| "Hi Everyone, Just a short story about to get longer.Longer when 2007 boating/fishing season opens. In 1998 I bought a 1983 16 ft Lund with a 35 Merc. My wife and I have totally enjoyed that boat up until this fall 2006. Spent many a hours on the lakes fishing when lots wouldn't attempt it in rougher waters. After researching and shopping different dealers and brands we always ended up back at a lund dealer. We found a Lund dealer we liked and purchased 2007 1700 pro sport with a 115 honda four stroke. This boat is my dream boat and can\\\'t wait to get it in the water next spring. Just going on our good experiences with our old boat this new one has got to be awesome. Never even advertised the old one for sale and we had someone wanting it and paid what we asked. " - Vern R, Fort Mcmurray, AB | |
| " Hello, My name is John Jamison. I fish Catfish tournaments around the nation. Primarily Cabela's King Kat tournaments. I fish out of a 2025 Pro-V IFS. I fished 9 tournaments last year and placed in the top 3, 7 out of 9 times. I feel like I owe much of my success to my Lund. It allowed me to fish water that would have been unfishable in the traditional flat bottom or modified V bottom boats that most catfisherman use. These boats handle the 3-5 foot swells produced on the Ohio River, Mississippi River or Santee Cooper like no other. Another attribute of this amazing boat is the Pro-Long livewell system. Lund promotes this to be the best in the industry and I agree 100%. I consistently went to the weigh-in scales with 100-150 pounds of fish in my livewells. In every case my fish were so lively I could barely hold on to my fish to weigh them in. In fact it became a joke with the announcer because when we arrived at the weigh-in stage he would say, "Ladies and Gentlemen, get a look at how good of shape this young mans fish are in when he pulls them out of his livewell." The only other boats that had fish in such good condition were fellow Lund owners. In fact on October 13th and 14th of 2006 I finished 2nd in the nation at the Cabela's King Kat Classic held at Sheffield, Alabama with a two day limit of 14 Bluecats that totaled 490.75 pounds. That is a 35 pound average! It was the second heaviest weight ever weighed in at a freshwater tournament! Guess what? My fish were again so lively and in such good conditon that I could barely hold on to them. Wheather you are a tournament fisherman or a pleasure fisherman Lund boats really do have the best product on the water. Thank you Lund for contributing to my successfull season. Oh and by the way. If you would like to learn more about the Classic there is an article in Febuary Issue 2007 of In-Fisherman magazine that tells about how we had such an amazing catch and how my Lund boat contributed to that success! Tight Lines and Good fishing! " - John J, Spring Hill, KA | |

| "I just purchased my 07 1850 Tyee GS in January at the St. Louis Boat show. From that moment until March when I picked it up and took it to my lake house at Lake of the Ozarks, I could not wait to get it out on the water. I had been researching the best boat to buy for over a year that would provide me and my family the most versatile and safest boat money could buy. Having a boat that could start me out at 5:30 am, fishing all the docks, points, banks that Lake of the Ozarks has to offer and then in less than 10 minutes be converted to a family recreational boat that would pull tubers, skiers and make an enjoyable ride to the dam or the state park with 7 people for the entire afternoon, then in less than 10 minutes have me back fishing from 6:30 to 9:00 pm, that is what my Lund has done for me. I have had at least 5 other boat owners make comments that my Lund was one of the nicest looking, most versatile boats for Lake of the Ozarks that they had seen. When I show a fisheman all the special storage features they are impressed and when I have recreational boaters on board they are simply amazed at all the room, how quickly it gets on plane and how safe they feel riding in it. I sometimes feel like a salesperson for Lund, especially at Lake of the Ozarks, where it can get pretty rough on a busy summer weekend. When I was at the boat show, the salesperson from the dealer told me that my Lund was probably about 90% of the time used as a fishing boat and about 10% as a recreational boat. I am here to tell you that that figure needs to be adjusted to say at least 50/50. We usually get 5-6 hours a day using it for fun in the sun and the other 6 hours relaxing fishing. I know that I am not telling you anything you do not already know, except to say that my 1850 Tyee GS is the absolute best boat for the money, but even more so, it is the most versatile boat skimming across the waters at Lake of the Ozarks." - Dan E, St. Louis, MO | |
| "I love my wife, my children and my Lund. Not NECESSARILY in that order! I bought my 50th anniversary 16ft. Rebel nine years ago. It's been the best nine years of my life. It has allowed me to catch countless walleyes in the Delaware River. (Yes, you read correctly) I mark every one on the underside of my livewell lid with a marker. You want to see how many memories have been made in my Lund? Come look inside my livewell. My jealous friends couldn't take it anymore and bought one for themselves. You should too! Now people call us the Lundboyz" - Curtis K, Levittown, PA | |
| "When my daughter, Whitney, comes home rom the University of Minnesota for summer vacation one of her favorite things to do is go fishing. She caught this 22lb 10 oz King Salmon out of Escanaba, MI aboard our Lund Baron Magnum Overnighter. The overnighter is the perfect slamon boat for both Lake Michigan and Lake Superior. Whitney has many wonderful memories catching fish to remember as she studies at the UMN during the school year." - Mike W, Marquette, MI | |
| "My first Alaskan got totaled in a car accident. I thought it would be years before I found a suitable replacement. Luckily I found a great center console model for sale about a month later and it has been great for all of the ocean and lake fishing available here in Maine. I even have a vanity plate for my trailer that says, "ALASKAN" I also have a cool website dedicated to my most prize possession. Brent R. fishes off a Tyee 1850 Lund Boat and knows how to use it! Brent recently won the Jr. Bassmaster® Bassin Boys Club tournament on Lake Sarah. Congratulations! He also won biggest fish that day plus qualified for the state tournament in August. This is definitely one young angler to keep an eye on!
| Fishing has been a central part of our family since my husband and I went on a fly-in fishing trip for our honeymoon. We were finally able to buy our own boat a few years ago, and we chose the "Mr. Pike" model. At the time I did not realize the role this boat would play in our life. We now have two boys and have gone on several fishing trips with them. Watching the children help their dad get the boat ready to go on fishing trips inspired me to write a story. The story actually came to me while I was sitting in our boat in the middle of a lake one sunny afternoon. I decided to publish the story and found an illustrator who painted beautiful watercolor pictures from photographs of my husband, my son, our dog Sam, and our Lund boat. After a long production process, the book Wishing I Was Fishing has now been published and is available! Attached is one photograph that became an illustration for the story. Thanks Lund! Our "Mr. Pike" is now a celebrity! Eva Wells, Woodbury, MN |
I DO!!!LOVE FISHING!!! To sum it up this is the best investment I’ve ever made. To be honest I could have had the same fun and great fishing season that I had this year in any other boat but this thing is built tough. I’m sure that I will be enjoying my LUND for a very long time? till death do us part. Thank you LUND. Stephane T., Montreal, QC |

My 1990 1800 Lund PRO-V Gary Roach Edition is by far the best boat I've ever owned for lake Erie. I guess that\'s why after all of these years, I still have it! I admit to shopping lately for a new replacement (Grady White), but once I realized just how versital my Lund is for back trolling, jigging, trailering, and GREAT fuel economy, I decided to keep her. See you on the lake! Jim P., Westland, MI |

In 1999 I was at my local boat dealer for parts when the service manager said that they had the perfect boat for my family. Someone had traded in a 1992 Lund Pro V 1890. I looked at it, he took me out in it to show me what it could do, and my wife let me trade my Lund Laker (16') in for it. I have dragged this boat to lakes in 3 states, multiple week long vacations, lauched it on sandy beaches with no ramps, moved twice, and yet it keeps meeting my needs. Sadly, my 1st wife passed away, and I am proud to admit that my second date with my new bride was in my Lund at Flaming Gorge Reservoir, in UT. We had a great time and continue to love this boat. I now have 5 children (2 are teenagers) and this boat has taken us fishing, tubing with their friends, multiple family reunions, and many memorable trips with my dad who loves how stable it is. I cannot ever see myself owning anything else, and love the attention that this boat brings. I have been asked multiple times what it is like to fish in a Lund by others who had a boat that was larger than mine. I always brag about the ride, convenience and features. Thanks Lund for the great boat and memories. Robert J., West Jordan, UT. |
I bought a used 16 ft Lund with a 35 hp Johnson in 1972 and fished in Puget Soun with it. A great boat. Sold it to a neighbor. In 1992, I bought a new 14 ft. S-14 for running my antique outboard motors. It's great for this. It's rated at 35 hp and I run all of my motors from 35 hp maximum, down to the smallest ones of 1 hp. I also own a 12 ft. 1976 Lund on which I run old motors up to 15 hp. I am really pleased with these boats. Jerry B., Seattle, WA. |
Bought my Lund Fisherman thinking I was going to fish mostly fresh water. Ended up instead fishing the Long Island Sound in some pretty big chop. Never had a problem with the boat, handles great and we have landed some really nice fish along the way. The Lund allows me to fish the shallow rocky areas well and handle the big water when needed. Great choice for pursuing fish like Stripers, Bluefish, Flounder, etc... which change up the conditions faster then the weather! From downriggers in 120 feet to pitching a popper in 3, never had a problem. My son can't wait to get back out and chase them again and again. Alan D., Ridgefield, CT. |
I bought my Lund Fisherman 2000 two years ago. Lund's aren't really well known in the Northwest but being hooked on the fishing shows I learned that it was a very good boat. I looked up a dealer in Portland and after taking a look at them, I bought it that same day. My boat is powered by the 150 hp Yamaha with the T-8 Yamaha kicker. I do alot of fishing on the Columbia River in the Portland, Or Vancouver, Wa. area. I fish for Salmon during the Spring and Fall runs, but probably spend more time fishing for small mouth bass than any other fish. I also like to take it to area lakes fishing for trout and Kokanee. Because of the riveted hull instead of the welded, the Lund is much lighter and deeper. It trailors very easiily and when the Columbia gets rough my Lund won't "pound" like the shallow V boats do. I have owned several boats in my life and nothing compares to this boat. I intend to keep it for a long time. Thanks, Lund Tom A., Vancouver, WA

I bought my first Lund in the spring of 1996. I have never had any problems with it at all! I love my old Lund. It has helped me win 2 first place finishes in the M.W.T. and several top 20 finishes in the last 10 years. I know that this boat could go for another 10 years of great fishing. I am so happy on how this boat has held up under all that tournament anglers put them through on a daily bases. If I was not a tournament angler this boat would last a lifetime! No questions about it! Everyone on the tournament trail always ask.. when are you gonna get a new boat? I tell them why do I need a new one when this one is still going strong? I love my Lund, and plan on buying another one this winter. Craig N., Clarkston, MI |
