Lund Boat Company Receives NMMA Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) Award
in the Aluminum Outboard Boats Category

New York Mills, Minn., Nov. 3, 2006 - Lund Boat Company, a leading manufacturer of high-quality aluminum boats, was recognized today in the 2006 Marine Industry CSI Program, in the Aluminum Outboard Boats category. The National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) presented the awards at the 2006 International BoatBuilders’ Exhibition and Conference (IBEX) Industry Awards Breakfast, in Miami.  "We are honored to receive this prestigious award," said Andrew Klopak, president of Lund Boat Company, "Lund prides itself on delivering the ultimate fishing experience and this CSI award signifies that Lund does just that."

The Marine Industry CSI Award program recognizes participating companies actively measuring customer satisfaction to pursue continuous improvement.  Award recipients achieved and maintained an independently-measured standard of excellence of 90 percent or higher in customer satisfaction over the past year, based on information provided by more than 50,000 consumers purchasing a new boat or engine during the period between July 2005 and June 2006. A minimum of 25 consumer responses per brand were required to qualify.  The program meets the 2007 model year CSI requirements of the NMMA Boat/Yacht Certification program, as well as the dealer level CSI requirements of the Marine Industry Dealership Certification program, for manufacturers that are full participants in the Marine Industry CSI process. "The Program shows consumers and the industry what Lund has accomplished," stated Klopak. "More importantly this award sets a goal for Lund not only to achieve next year, but surpass, continuously taking the customer’s ultimate experience to a higher level."
